The Five Seasons of My Childhood, a co-production between Kosovo and Spain, marks the fifth collaboration between Besim Ugzmajli and Mailuki Films.
Synopsis: A journey through childhood memories brings nostalgia filled with both pain and love. Nothing is as it was in childhood; only memories wander freely and glow in retrospect. The environment and everything from that time has been violently ruined and changed by someone. The seasons are set amidst the ruins of troubled memories.

Character Design
When working on this character we made sure to stay as true as possible to images of the director as a young boy. As a personal tale of his childhood, it only made sense we treated him as both a director and main character.
The live-action footage, concept, and narration were delivered beforehand, whereas we worked on the character animation and VFX. Mixing the two was a challenge we met head-on and were extremely pleased with the results.
